Description

Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is a plant belonging to the asparagus family. In Ayurvedic medicine, it belongs to the group of “Rasayana” – herbs that improve general well-being, increase vitality and have an immunostimulating effect. Its name “shatavari” means “she who has 100 husbands” and indicates the plant’s ability to increase fertility in women and regulate the functioning of the female reproductive system.

Root from India

Shatavari is found in tropical and subtropical regions of India. It grows in forests and on plains, preferring sandy soils. It has a developed root system – it is the bulbous, fleshy root of the plant that is the main herbal raw material.

Support for women’s causes

Shatavari supports women at every stage of their lives. The main components of the root are steroid saponins, which suggest its use as an estrogen regulator. This helps to normalize menstrual cycles, cope with the symptoms of premenstrual tension, relieve menstrual cramps and control the amount of blood lost. It can also help with fluid retention and unpleasant flatulence, which often occurs before menstruation.

In addition to its effects on the menstrual cycle, shatavari is particularly known for its beneficial effects on the female and male reproductive systems. It also helps to maintain balance in the physiology of women during menopause.

Not only for women

Shatavari is primarily known among women, however, its properties can also help men, for example with libido problems. It supports the body’s resistance to stress and facilitates falling asleep due to its positive effect on the nervous system. The plant can also be effective in the fight against infertility and premature ejaculation.

Regular supplementation with shatavari extract: supports cardiovascular health, improves the body’s resistance to stress, facilitates falling asleep, regulates the health of the female reproductive system, helps maintain physiological balance during menopause, helps maintain digestive health, improves the comfort of the menstrual cycle, protects the nervous system, rejuvenates the female and male reproductive and sexual systems, stimulates libido, improves erection and contributes to increasing sperm volume, and also supports emotional balance.
